MOSCOW TUNING SHOW – VERSION 7.0!
April 24-26, 2015
The unique international project Moscow Tuning Show was held for the seventh time already in April in Crocus Expo IEC. The show was accommodated in one of the halls of the third pavilion and at outdoor area.
More than 100 companies from various regions of Russia presented their tuning solutions on 14 000 sq m of exhibit space. More than 50 000 attendees visited the show within 3 working days. This year the project was segmented in various sections: premium class tuning, tuning of motor equipment, interior/exterior styling and of course aerographics. A separate sector was devoted to elite disks and accessories.
Every year the exhibition impresses car fans with a bright and unforgettable exposition presenting the leading Russian and foreign companies engaged in the development of new ideas for improvement of factory specifications of various vehicles.
The Gala Opening Ceremony of the 7th exhibition Moscow Tuning Show took place April 24 at 12:00 p.m. Guests of honour of the ceremony made speeches of welcome and wished all the best to exhibitors and attendees of the show.
A special exposition Motors of War devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory became the highlight of the event. Motors of War – Russia’s first military-patriotic gathering of military vehicles. A meeting of organizers with the Second World War veterans who highly appreciated work of the restorers – because they not only managed to assemble unique vehicles in one place but also to make it with all their heart and soul – took place April 24.
Since recent time an adrenaline Show of Masters supplemented annual events of Moscow Tuning Show. The outdoor area opposite from Crocus Expo pavilions was filled with motors roaring, tires squeal and exclamations of the audience striving to cheer up professional athletes performing spectacular drifting rides on rear-wheel sports cars, stunt riding on sport motorbikes on forward and back wheels, jumps and many other things. Fantastic 22-meter jumps by huge truck from the winner of rally marathon Dakar 2013 Edouard Nikolaev, made for the first time in the history of the KAMAZ-master team, or his drift show – KAMAZ + RocketBull 86 – together with the participant of Russian Drift Series 2015 Nikita Shikov.
Trainings and qualification rounds were held Saturday April 25 and pair races were held Sunday April 26 thus opening the season of Russian Drift Series 2015. The drift show was sponsored by Novye Kolesa internet shop. Drifters from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Khabarovsk participated in the competition. The Muscovite Vladimir Kossyakov on Mitsubishi Colt became the winner of qualification. Victors of pair races – also representatives of the Russian capital – Andrey Bogdanov on Toyota Altezza which took the upper hand in the final duel with Alexander Sivertsev on Nissan 200SX. And the third place went to the drifter from Khabarovsk Mikhail Shavrak on Toyota Altezza.
Opening of car audio season EMMA Russia was traditionally held within the frames of Moscow Tuning Show. Participants of the official round of the XVIII EMMA Car Audio & Tuning Championship of Russia competed in the following nominations: Sound Quality, Multimedia, ESPL, Car Tuning and ESQL Show Class. The Awarding ceremony for the winners took place Sunday April 26. Stanislav Solodov with the Saab 95 car which had won 205 points became the unconditional leader of the competition. Dmitry Kachayev and his Ford Focus II got the second place and the third place was won by to Alexey Suvorov and Dodge RAM 1500. VAZ 2107 of Ilya Gvozdkov was specially noted among national cars.
Besides, for the first time on an exposition there was introduced an Motorsport section where pilots of professional racing series – rally, trophy-raids, ring races and drag racing – recklessly competed with visitors in virtual races on auto simulators.
Tuning Parade competition, one of the most awaited events of the branch, ran for two days: April 25 (Saturday) nominees were estimated by a competent jury and the finals and awarding ceremony for the winners took place April 26 (Sunday). DIFFUSIONART company sponsored the Tuning Parade 2015.
ART4CAR, Namashinu.ru and CustomsCars.ru became the three leaders in the nomination Art on Wheels. The car of American Garage, Cars & Bike Wrapping (C.B.W) and ART4CAR won in Female Delight nomination. The creation of TUNING BRAZERS masters team, Tundra Club and Track Garage won the first three prizes in The Most Creative Car nomination. Smotra social network, ILLSKILL and Muscle Gang Moscow club were nominated as The Best Club Movement.
