The 2nd International exhibition of landscape architecture, gardening,
design of open spaces and interiors

Garden Build, a key international project in Russia on landscape architecture, garden building, landscaping of surrounding territories, design of open spaces and interiors, was held for the second timeat the beginning of April in Crocus Expo IEC.
The trade fair is the result of incorporated efforts of Crocus Expo IEC, the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia (ALAROS) and GreenExpo exhibition company.
Garden Build again received a positive assessment from participants and guests who noted the high level of organization, relevance of the business program and beauty of the exposition. The success of the event is confirmed by statistics: more than 4500 people registered as visitors, 70% of which were experts in landscape architecture, improvement of urban environment, floristic and design of spaces.
More than 120 companies from 8 regions of Russia and foreign countries (Italy, Holland, Belarus, Poland, Germany and China) gathered together in Hall 9 of the second pavilion Crocus Expo IEC. Design studios, architectural bureaus and salons, landscape companies, associations and unions, landscape architects and designers presented at the trade fair their products and services in gardening, territory improvement and design, adjustment of landscapes, creation of parks and winter gardens and also decoration of interiors. Producers and distributors presented technologies for improvement and landscaping of open spaces, small architectural forms, lighting equipment, drainage and engineering systems, garden furniture, play and sports grounds, water devices, flowers and plants, elements of open spaces decor, equipment for outdoor recreation and outing and many other things.
As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years Garden Build has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allow all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential. International landscape forum City Park became the key event of Garden Build 2015 exhibition. The forum is a meeting place for authoritative professionals on improvement of urban areas, parks and gardens. Representatives of legislative and executive bodies of the power, heads of profile structures of the Governments of Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions of the Russian Federation, prominent specialists of Russian and foreign schools of landscape architecture, town-planners, ecologists, culture experts, economists, employees of the housing and communal sector, journalists and other interested persons participated in the work of the forum. The calendar of events featured conferences, seminars and master classes of known national and foreign experts of landscaping.
A competition of floristic schools sponsored by Primaflora information platform devoted to Holland floriculture and plant growing became the highlight of the calendar of events. Enraptured audience watched competition participants creating incredible floristic objects made from plant materials, fresh flowers, window and garden plants in individual art technique. Each contestant was granted a memorable diploma and well deserved applauses of judges and guests of then exhibition.
Garden Build in 2015 was segmented as following:
- Landscape architecture and design
- Small architectural forms and structures
- Planting stock of flowers and plants
- Goods for garden and gardening
- Winter garden, green walls and interior phytodesign
Official Opening Ceremony of the exhibition took place April 1 at 12:00 p.m. Participants of the ceremony:

- Serguei Kharitonov, Director of State Public Body Management on Ecological and Forestry Projects Implementation;
- Taisija Volftrub, President of the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia;

- Nadezhda Grigorieva, Director General of GreenExpo;
- Irina Dementieva, Director of Garden Build exhibition.
Garden Build exhibition becomes undoubtedly a significant international business platform for the professionals of landscape industry. The trade fair brought together the leading branch organizations such as the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia (ALAROS), the Guild of Managers and Developers (GUD), the Moscow Association of Landscape Architects (MOLA), the Russian Association of Planting Stock Producers (APPM), the French Federation for Landscape Architects (FFP) and PrimaVera Italian school of floristic and decoration supported the event.
