THE WORLD OF KILOGRAMS AND METERS

The World of Kilograms and Meters exhibition, a new project of Crocus Expo’s own exhibitions program, was closed at the end of October in the second pavilion of Crocus Expo IEC. The project featured a unique exposition of scales of the most different types which are applied in all spheres of a person activity and devices intended for determination of linear sizes.

The launch proved to be a successful one! The organizers managed to incorporate under one roof the most advanced equipment for measurement of weight characteristics, dimensions and distance to object. Their achievements showed not only national experts from Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Arzamas, Volgograd, Moscow, Leningrad, Rostov, Ryazan, Tambov and Kemerovo regions but also representatives of Belarus, Germany, China and Turkey.

The exhibitors presented to attendees scientific and technological novelties in the sphere of high-precision measurements applied in industry, transport, trade, physics and modern household appliances. It is obvious that in these branches even a minimum mistake causes irreparable consequences. Guests of Crocus Expo IEC had an opportunity to explore the most precise devices, to get advice on their operation and also to participate in specialized seminars of the calendar of events.

The attendees had an opportunity to participate in a rich and topical business program which included a meeting of the Association of Interregional Manufacturers of Weighing Equipment, a presentation of the project Automation of Small Retail Forms including Weighing Complexes and other no less significant events.

The initiative of the project launch of the profiles had been approved on the highest official level. The exhibition was supported by the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Russian Federation (Rosstandart) and the Government of the Moscow region. The success inspired organizers on new fulfillments: next year the structure of participants and the space of the exposition The World of Kilograms and Meters will be considerably expanded.
