The 16th International exhibition Safari Expo. Spring 2014, one of the most important events which is very popular among hunters and fishermen will be held February 20-23, 2014 in the second pavilion of Crocus Expo IEC.

The exhibition is officially supported by the Ministry for Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Alliance of Public Associations of Hunting and Fishing (RosOkhotRybolovSoyuz).

Safari Expo trade fair has always been of keen interest among specialists, avid hunters and fishermen, ramblers and just for outdoor type of person who would rather work his way through the depths of the forest or while away the time with a fishing rod. The project provides the perfect platform from which to demonstrate the potential of the Russian regions for development of hunting, fishing and ecological tourism, preservation of culture and traditions of the people of the Russian Federation. The exposition presents a full range of proposals from national and foreign producers of goods and services in the field of the hunting, gaming and fishing equipment, special equipment, technical means and vehicles used in hunting, gaming and fishing, outdoor activities and tourism.

More than 200 Russian and foreign companies which will be accommodated on overall exhibit space comprising 10 000 m2 (halls 7 and 8 of the second pavilion of the fairgrounds) will participate in the trade fair. More than 15 regions of Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Altai territory, Murmansk, Kamchatka, Krasnoyarsk, Rostov, Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, the Moscow, Astrakhan, Bryansk, Magadan and Tver areas), and also foreign participants from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Spain, Canada, Lithuania, Namibia, Slovenia, the USA, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, the Republic of South Africa will be presented in Crocus Expo IEC.

Expanded floor space is organized into 5 thematic sectors: Hunting, Fishing, Technical means, Leisure and tourism, Health of nation. It will improve visitors navigation around the halls, make suppliers stands easier to find and provide our large show with more efficiency.

As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years Safari Expo has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allows all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential. The calendar of events features conferences and seminars covering issues related to reproduction and rational use of hunting and fishing resources of our country, presentation of novelties from leading Russian producers of equipment and gears that will allow representatives of regions to show advantages of the native land in the best way.

Presentation of the second edition of The Record Book of Russian Hunting Trophies will take place at the stand of the Moscow hunting club Safari (A160) February 20 at 03:00 p.m. Also the Awarding Ceremony for the winners of the competition of Safari Club hunting trophies in the nominations Hunter of the Year, The Best Trophy of the Year and The Best Trophies of the Year will be held there. Press conference on the release of the second edition of The Record Book of Russian Hunting Trophies will take place February 21 (at 01:00 p.m.) and presentation of Mountain Hunting Club will be organized February 22 (at 12:00 p.m.).

Young Fisher Festival will be held February 22 from 10:00 a.m. till 01:00 p.m. on ice of the Myakinino valley with participation of children's fishing sports schools of Moscow and the Moscow region.

Hunting and Gun Dogs Parade with specialists’ comments (at 12:00 p.m.) and Knife Producers Contest (at 03:00 p.m.) will be held February 22.
