14th MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL OPTICAL FAIR

Moscow International Optical Fair (MIOF) will be held February 18 through 21, 2014 in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. Before 2014 the project was held under Ophthalmologic Optics name but aiming at its further development and exit to international level, and also due to changes of the market conditions and requests from the consumers the organizers made up the decision on rebranding of the project.

The trade fair provides the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships. Despite the dynamic changes taking place in Russia and the rapid growth of the sector, the show continues to complement and reflect the industry’s demand and is a promotional opportunity not to be missed.

Exhibitors from Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Vladimir, Volgograd, Vologda, Novosibirsk, Rostov, Sverdlovsk, Kaluga and Yaroslavl areas), England, Turkey, Latvia and Ukraine will participate in the fair this year. The total number of participants will make 160 companies which will be accommodated on 12 700 m2.

The exposition sections traditionally cover the full range of optical products and relevant technological processes:

MIOF will comprise an exhibition of innovation projects and technologies presented by the leading companies in this sector, a special platform for the equipment demonstration, and a conference for discussion of such issues as economic efficiency of the companies during the crisis, the companies’ technologies and solutions aimed at efficient use of resources. Participation in the trade fair is a unique opportunity to present a company and products to a distinctly selected targeted audience of industry specialists. They will be well prepared to discuss business in the Russian market and to close a deal on-site.

Official Opening Ceremony of the 14th Moscow International Optical Fair will take place February 18 at 12:00 p.m.

Ticket for the fair period will cost 250 RUB.
