The 14th International exhibition Safari Expo. Spring 2013, one of the most important events which is very popular among hunters and fishermen will be held February 21-24, 2013 in the second pavilion of Crocus Expo IEC.

The exhibition is officially supported by the Ministry for Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the RosOkhotRybolovSoyuz Association.

Safari Expo trade fair has always been of keen interest among specialists, avid hunters and fishermen, ramblers and just for outdoor type of person who would rather work his way through the depths of the forest or while away the time with a fishing rod. The project has already proved its high level and has become one of the most popular among Crocus owned trade fairs.

Safari Expo provides the perfect platform from which to demonstrate the potential of the Russian regions for development of hunting, fishing and ecological tourism, preservation of culture and traditions of the people of the Russian Federation.

More than 300 companies from 20 regions of the Russian Federation (Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Astrakhal, arkhanguelsk, Bryansk, Volgograd, Magadan, Riazan’, Rostov, Nizhny Novgorod, Pskov, Samara, Tver and Cheliabinsk regions, Kamchatsk krai, Republic of Dagestan and Yakutia) and their foreign colleagues from Argentina, Byelorussia, Spain, Canada, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mozambique, New Zealand, Nicaragua, the USA, Turkmenistan, Tanzania, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, Estonia and the South African Republic will participate in the 2013 edition.

The exposition presents a full range of proposals from national and foreign producers of goods and services in the field of the hunting, gaming and fishing equipment, special equipment, technical means and vehicles used in hunting, gaming and fishing, outdoor activities and tourism.

Expanded floor space is organized into 5 thematic sectors. It will improve visitors navigation around the halls, make suppliers stands easier to find and provide our large show with more efficiency.

1. Hunting
The section will feature a wide range of weapons, cartridges, weapon accessories, hunting and sport equipment, technical devices and optics, tents, special footwear and clothing, hunting outfit and many other goods. Fans of sports shooting will have an opportunity to try their accuracy on shooting laser training simulators. Interest of visitors of the exhibition will be attracted also by the section of hunting trophies and taxidermy.

2. Fishing
There will be a lot to look at both for fishers and hunters: a wide range of fishing tackles, floating means, spinning, fishing rods, coils, fishing-lines, hooks for all tastes and wallets. The most inveterate fishermen can try skills of various ways of fishing and familiarize with novelties of fishing tackles at pool directly on the show site.

3. Technical means
A separate exposition will feature devices and equipment for outdoor activity and tourism: all-road and cross-country vehicles, boats and speed-boats, hovercrafts, tow vehicles, engines and related products.

4. Leisure and tourism
Travel agencies offering hunting and fishing tours in Russia and abroad, fishing and hunting entities, outdoor activity establishments (mountain skiing, biking and horse tourism), goods for sports, goods for outdoor picnics, tourism and underwater hunting will be presented in the sector.

5. Health of nation
The visitors will see heating devices and other special purpose facilities for hunters and fishers, folk medicine remedies, balm, liqueur (nastoyka) and honey and first aid in extreme situations.

As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years Safari Expo has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allows all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential. The calendar of events features conferences and seminars covering issues related to reproduction and rational use of hunting and fishing resources of our country, presentation of novelties from leading Russian producers of equipment and gears that will allow representatives of regions to show advantages of the native land in the best way.

The Gala Opening Ceremony will take place February 21 at 01:00 p.m. in the hall of the second pavilion Crocus Expo IEC. After the ceremony journalists are invited to questions-and-answers session.

The organizers of the exhibition aim to bring together on the same platform all key national and foreign players and to offer an excellent platform to encourage networking among specialists and fans, to present the company and products in the Russian market, personally meet a wide audience of specialists, study market conditions, establish strong business relationship and just purchase various novelties for the season.
