NAIS 2021 exhibition and forum of the civil aviation infrastructure has been opened
The 8th NAIS Forum & show has been opened today February 9 at Crocus Expo. The 8th NAIS Forum & show is the recognized industry event in Russia and CIS for professionals engaged in modernization and development of travel routes and civil aviation infrastructure: airports, airfields, helicopter centres, airlines and other air carriers.
Vitaliy Saveliev, Minister of Transport of Russia, Lenar Safin, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Council of Federations for Economic Policy, and Alexander Neradko, Head of Federal Agency for Air Transport, participated in the official opening ceremony of the project.
Regularly NAIS is held with the support and participation of top officials from Ministry of Transport of Russia, Federal Air Transport Agency, Administration of the President, Council of Federations, as well as civil aviation flagships - airports, airlines and aircraft manufacturers.
NAIS gathers over 140 exhibitors showcasing latest technologies and equipment for air industry, and over 4000 professionals looking for new suppliers, partners and networking. It is a 2-day intense business program for top managers and specialists, including Forum, industry awards and F-2-F negotiations.
Various products and technologies from different sectors of the industry are displayed within the frames of the exposition. One can find data about exhibitors in the online catalogue.
The results of the Skyway Service Award will be traditionally declared on the site. Annual industry award for domestic and international airlines operating in Russia for the best service and customer bonus programs will be granted to the winners. It is awarded on the basis of online voting of passengers and includes 13 nominations. 38 airports and 10 airlines are among nominees this year.
A two-day intense business program covers the main infrastructure development and modernization aspects, as well as includes award ceremonies and other official events. NAIS forum will be held within the frames of the business program.
NAIS Forum for two days will become the platform for discussion of the key topics, trendsetting the further industry development, as well as for exchanging professional experience between specialists of all infrastructure aspects.
Plenary session Development of Interregional Air Route Network as a Driver of Economic Growth in Russia's Regions will be held February 9 on the first day of the forum. Topics for discussion: Improvement and development of the system of state regulation and aviation activity; Implementation of investment infrastructure projects aimed at the development of Russian airports; Analysis of the effectiveness of route subsidies; Tariff setting and the possibility of introducing flat tariffs; Requirements of the air carrier from the "regional air fleet"; Opportunities and prospects for the development of a network of small regional airports; and The role of regional hubs.
