The Salone del Mobile.Milano returns to Moscow’s Crocus Expo-2 from 9th to 12th October, with renewed enthusiasm and keen to conserve its position on such an important market, under the banner of excellence and quality. The fair is pitched at foreign operators who have demonstrated their appreciation for the innovative content and the manufacturing value that have always underpinned the exhibiting companies’ proposals.

A concrete response to this interest comes from the over 240 companies in attendance, showcasing the top exhibits from the 2019 edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano in Pavilions 7 and 8 who bring huge optimism to the event, seeing it as an unmissable opportunity to consolidate their own positions and strategies on the Russian market and on that of the former Soviet Republics, which are increasingly keen on good quality products, from classic to design and luxury pieces.

The Salone del Mobile.Milano Moscow is a point of reference for trade operators, professionals, the press, fans, millennials and everyone constantly on the lookout for new pieces that balance design, planning and lifestyle. Many visitors are expected, seeing the event as the only platform for good quality furnishing on the Russian market thanks to the huge array of goods, which range from furnishings to upholstereds, lighting systems, kitchens and built-in appliances, offices, accessories, bathrooms and textiles.

i Saloni WorldWide were launched in 2005 and since then are held annually in Moscow in October, becoming the benchmark event for the Home-furnishing sector for the Russian market and the countries in its geopolitical basin, visited by more than 30,000 trade operators, press and general public.

The Saloni WorldWide Moscow are characterized not only by the superlative quality of the goods on offer – from classic furniture to trend-setting and luxury pieces – but also by the essence of the fair itself: a benchmark for interior concepts, showcasing a selection of pieces shown in Milan: from furnishings to upholstereds, lighting appliances, kitchens, office furniture, accessories, bathroom furnishings, textiles, coverings, furnishing components and product accessories.

Thanks to its partnership with the Salone del Mobile.Milano Moscow, ICE – the Italian Trade Agency – brings a delegation of 161 selected buyers, operators, distributors, architects and interior designers from 29 different cities in the Russian Federation, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to the event, for whom a packed programme of visits to companies as well as more than 5,500 B2B meetings has been arranged.

This is also the 15th edition of SaloneSatellite Moscow, which offers participants a chance to make contact with the exhibiting companies as well as affording them great visibility. The 46 talented young people, selected from among the top designers/students at the leading design schools in Russia and the former Soviet Republics, showcase a large variety of products that evidence a balance of design, function and looks. This year’s inspirational theme is FOOD as a DESIGN OBJECT, the subject of the Milan event last April, thus also throwing open to Russia the debate on the opportunities the food sector has to offer to the world of design. The top three award winners will be invited to the 2020 edition of SaloneSatellite, held under the umbrella of the Salone del Mobile.Milano from 21st to 26th April 2020.

Salone del Mobile.Milano Moscow will run October 9 through 12, 2019.
