Deutsche Messe RUS launches a new project – TRANSPACK exhibition for transport packaging
In September 2020, Deutsche Messe RUS starts up a new project named TRANSPACK -an international exhibition for transport packaging, packaging machinery and automation. The venue for the event will be IEC Crocus Expo. The trade fair will be held at the same time as the major intralogistics project of Deutsche Messe RUS CeMAT RUSSIA -from 22 to 24 of September.
In her comment about the launch of a new trade fairTRANSPACK, Svetlana Fedoseyeva, Director General of OOO Deutsche Messe RUS, pointed out: “In the framework of TRANSPACK, we will propose our Russian and international customers a high-quality platform in the central region of Russia which is a rapidly growing market with a particularly great potential in the area of transport packaging equipment and processautomation. The central region is a point of contact for all the other regions of Russia. That is why packaging technologies for warehouses are extremely relevant here. Our task is to raise the profile of global brands in this local market. This will facilitate better quality of the services and -which is equally important -environmental protection.”
TRANSPACK exhibition display categories cover in full the main areas of the industry, and include the following sections:
O Transport and industrial packaging
O Packaging materials
O Machinery and industrial robots
O Marking systems
Prior to the launch of TRANSPACK, severalcooperation agreements between Deutsche Messe RUS and key industry unions were signed. These are National Packaging Confederation(NCPack), The International Corrugated Industry Magazine, Informational Packaging Portal Unipack.Ru, and the AugustBorg information and analysis center. One of the world's largest transport and logistics companies in the market, Kuehne + Nagel, received the status of a recommended partner of transport and logistics services for exhibitors.
TRANSPACK will be held in parallel with CeMAT RUSSIA -aninternational exhibition for materials handling, warehousing equipment and logistics. Such synergy will help visitors to find complex solutions for tasks related to development of an efficient intralogistic system in the company and to cost optimization for transport packaging. Russian trends in the packaging industry development are similar to globalones. They include decreasing of material intensity of packaging, ensuring its compliance with the modern logistics and increase of online trade.
