Vladimir Putin will address the All-Russia People’s Front congress on November 29
According to the information provided by the Press Service of the Kremlin Vladimir Putin will speak at the congress of the Russian Popular Front (ONF) and meet with the new members of the movement’s central headquarters. The congress will be accommodated in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow.
The All-Russia People's Front is a nationwide movement in Russia started in 2011 by then Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin to provide United Russia with "new ideas, new suggestions and new faces". It has been established to protect the interests of the people, each and all citizens of Russia. Over the past few years, the ONF has proved worthy of the purpose for which it was created, which is to provide public control over the implementation of state decisions. ONF is intended to be a coalition between the ruling party and numerous nongovernmental organizations. On 12 June 2013, Putin was elected its leader.
It is estimated that more than 4 000 people from all over the country will attend the congress. The congress has been convened to discuss the creation of effective public control instruments for monitoring the implementation of 12 national projects set out in the Presidential Executive Order of May 2018. The President also met with the new members of the movement’s central headquarters.
