The International exhibition of the best available technologies GREENTECHexpo 2018 took place in Moscow

The International exhibition and forum of the best available technologies GREENTECHexpo was held with the official support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation November 6 through 9, 2018 in Crocus Expo. The organizer of the event is Crocus Expo, one of the top expo venues in Russia and Eastern Europe.

The project was designed to become an effective communication platform for representatives of the government, business community and scientific organizations, an arena for presentation of foreign and Russian environmental solutions and innovations for economy. . In Russia, with adoption in 2014 of legislative measures determining creation of the modern industry waste treatment and transition of various industries of the economy to the principles of the best available technologies (BAT), it was anticipated an essential increase in demand for corresponding methods, equipment, works and engineering services.

Representatives of federal and municipal authorities, business communities, institutes of development and investment funds, scientific and public organizations, educational institutions took part in the work of the exhibition and forum. Among them: the Adviser to the President and Special Presidential Representative for Climate Issues Ruslan Edelgeriyev, representatives of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, the Civic chamber of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Advisory council to the Government of the Russian Federation, the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the All-Russia People's Front, the Embassy of Belgium in the Russian Federation, the Vice Governor and the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, delegation from the Vologda, Kemerovo, Ryazan, Tver, Tyumen, Voronezh regions, Novorossiysk, Sevastopol, the Republic of Tatarstan and also representatives of such large companies as UralChim, UK RUSNANO, OK RUSAL, SUEK, PAO Gazprom, PAO Norilsk Nickel MMC, Vnesheconombank, VTB, Ernst&Young, the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) Gmbh, OOO HeidelbergCement RUS, Tarkett in Russia and many others.

The exhibition has been developed to include more than just an exhibition. More than 30 events were held within the frames of the project. The business program featured events of various formats: strategic sessions, panel discussions, round table talks, forecast sessions, business coaching and others.

The International exhibition and forum of the best available technologies GREENTECHexpo was held under support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
