The first GAZelle NEXT with automatic transmission will be presented in autumn
GAZ Group will display the first light commercial passenger vehicle with automatic transmission September 4 through 9 within the frames of the COMTRANS International Commercial Vehicle Show which will be held in Crocfus Expo.
GAZ Group’s Gorky Automobile Plant, part of Basic Element, one of Russia’s largest diversified industrial groups, started serial production of the new-generation GAZelle NEXT light commercial vehicle.
Foreign brands offer for commercial models the automated transmissions as the additional equipment. However alive they meet seldom: this option is too expensive to the working car. Our plants let out nothing similar in principle. The GAZ Group is ready to break the developed tradition. "The automatic machine is not only additional comfort for passengers, but also reduction of requirements to drivers. It means smaller number of breakages because of a human factor. Now the minibus from the automatic transmission passes tests. We will show the first such car in September at an exhibition COMTRANS in Moscow", - the head of the producer Vadim Sorokin has told. Marketing specialists of GAZ Group have noticed the interest of customers in a similar option. In particular, she interests operators of share taxis from Moscow and other large cities. On Gazelle without coupling pedal, are sure, it will be curious to look very much. Besides, GAZ works on own automatic machine which will appear by buses of the small and middle class and also by trucks "Next Lawn".
As the only exhibition of commercial vehicles in Russia, the commercial vehicle show COMTRANS provides the leading global and domestic manufacturers of commercial vehicles with the opportunity to present their achievements at the largest exhibition platform in Eastern Europe – in IEC Crocus Expo. Included in the official calendar of the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers OICA, COMTRANS is held every two years beginning from 2011 in odd-numbered years, alternating with the IAA in Hanover.
The organizers of the exhibition are planning the total exhibition space of over 43,000 m2, as well as the participation of more than 220 companies - manufacturers of trucks and vans, buses and minivans, trailers and semi-trailers, off-road vehicles and SUVs, utility vehicles, special vehicles and also support and services systems, components and spare parts, tires, oils, tools and workshop equipment, who will present their products to a wide range of specialists and experts of commercial vehicles industry.
