The International exhibition of innovative technologies for meat processing industry, dairy and poultry industry VIV Russia will run May 23 through 25, 2017 in Crocus Expo IEC.
VIV Russia is the trade show for animal husbandry and processing in Russia and the C.I.S. countries. VIV Russia showcases the industry's developments by the Feed to Food concept that brings together supply and demand within the complete animal protein chain. VIV Russia 2017 will focus on every step in the meat production process, presented by the worlds key players in the industry. The driver behind the chain concept is that animal feed and animal health are vital for meat quality and safety. VIV Russia will represent every step in the meat production process. VIV Russia Summit will be held within the frames of the business program of the exhibition. The summit will be held under the motto Agrarian Policy of Russia. Present and Future. Professionals from around the world – 1500 delegates, 80 speakers will gather on one platform, 12 conferences with participation of key players of the market will be held during the event.
The event will be held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Rosselkhoznadzor, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Federal Agency for Fisheries, the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, the SES Meat Council, the NGO Rosptitsesoyuz, the National Feed Union, the National Union of Pig Breeders, the National Meat Association, the VNIIPP . V.M. Gorbatova, Rossinioprom Union, Rossoyuzholodprom, VARPE, VNIRO FGBNU, Association of Fisheries Enterprises, ICCS Halal.
During the three-day event, experts will discuss the most important problems and prospects of the agro-industrial complex of Russia. Based on the experience of the past years, the Summit will become an authoritative platform for business and government dialogue on the development of the industry, ensuring food security in the current environment and attracting investment in the agro-industrial complex.
The summit will open a plenary session "Agrarian policy of Russia. Present and Future ", participation in which has already been confirmed by the Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Issues of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kashin, Head of the Department of Aquaculture of the Federal Fishery Agency Viktor Asharin, President of the National Union of Pig breeders Yuriy Kovalev, President of the Mej Council of the CES of the Customs Union Mushegh Mamikonyan, Head of the Executive Committee of the National meat Association Sergei Yushin, the president of the Russian Union of Poultry Breeders Vladimir Fisinin and CEO of the International center for standardization and certification of "Halal" of the Council of Muftis of Russia Aydar Gazizov.
Also on 23 May, within the framework of the Summit at the conference "Poultry Farm 2.0 / 17", co-organized by the Russian Poultry Union, experts will talk about innovations in poultry farming, raise questions of the optimal diet of poultry. Special guest of the conference will be a professor at the University of Arkansas (poultry chair) Craig H. Kuhn. On the same day, the conference "Forage production 2.0 / 17" will be held: "Myths and reality in the light of feed production at the present stage", the scientific and test center "Cherkizovo" will co-organize it.
On May 24, within the framework of the Summit, there will be a conference on modern solutions in pig breeding, co-organized by the National Union of Pig breeders. Experts will analyze the impact of key performance indicators on cost of production and discuss the best available technology (BAT).
On May 25, the Summit participants will gather at the conference on foreign trade activities, within the framework of which it is planned to talk about the project "Export of agricultural products" and prospects for its implementation; Also, experts will discuss topical issues and opportunities for increasing exports of agricultural products and processed products. Also, on the last day of the Summit, the participants will raise such an urgent topic as attracting investment in the agro-industrial complex.
