REGULATIONS ON MEDIA ACCREDITATION For events in Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre
- General Provisions
- Media accreditation is mandatory for all events held in Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre and is implemented in accordance with Federal Law on Mass Media, present Regulations and other appropriate statutory acts of the Russian Federation .
- Media accreditation is arranged by Press Club of Crocus Expo and aims to:
а) provide free admission to the Expo venue in order to enable journalists to engage in activities in the Crocus Expo site and consequently cover exhibition events in Mass Media;
б) create a favorable working environment for professional activity of journalists related to preparation and transmission of full and established information about Crocus Expo events.
- Procedures for media accreditation
- Press Club Crocus Expo IEC informs well in advance media bodies and PR departments of companies exhibitors on accreditation terms and conditions of its consideration for the events held in the Crocus Expo exhibit grounds.
- Media passes will be issued by Press Club of Crocus Expo IEC provided there is a completed Application for Media Accreditation (relative Media body or PR department letterhead, signed by the editor or employer and stamped).
- Application should contain:
a) Full name;
b) Position;
c) Full Media name and address;
d) Media format (newspaper, magazine, TV channel etc);
e) Telephone (office or mobile);
f) Fax;
g) E-mail.
- An accredited journalists is given a branded Press Representative badge and a relative press portfolio. It is required a copy of your photo ID of your affiliated organization to receive the badge. Advertising agents, marketing and distribution department employees are not entitled for accreditation. Badges are non-transferable!
- Accreditation period starts 10 days prior to the first day of the event and ends 1 day prior the last day of the event.
- Accreditation may be of different types: continual (for editors in chief (chief managers) and journalists covering exhibition activity of Crocus Expo IEC and limited-duration to facilitate coverage of a certain event carried out in Crocus Expo IEC.
- Rights and obligations of accredited media representatives
- Accredited media representatives are entitled to:
- Receive information about an event held in Crocus Expo IEC (press release, events calendar, list of exhibitors, official catalogues etc;
- Free access to Crocus Expo site events (always display your Expo media badge visibly when entering the Crocus Expo site);
- Access to the Press Club and all the services it offers during the event period (use phone lines for communication with relative editorial office and transmit on-line information via phone, facsimile and Internet);
- Attend press conferences, seminars, round tables, presentations, contests and other press related events within the frames of the event in Crocus Expo event site;
- Participate in press conferences, briefings and other press related events;
- Apply to the Press Club assistance in arranging an interview with Crocus Expo management, exhibition management and other key representatives of exhibitors;
- Admittance and parking at allocated for press parking lots in Crocus Expo IEC area.
Accredited media representatives are recommended to:
- be respectful of rights and lawful concerns of the event participants and Crocus Expo IEC employees, observe generally recognized code of ethics;
- make information about the event held in Crocus Expo IEC available for citizens, ensure its transparency for society and leave at the Press Club all materials published or broadcasted (TV, on air).
