The third pavilion
August 2007 the third new pavilion of the exhibition centre opened its doors for the visitors and guests for the first time.
The pavilion architectural appearance and interior accord the latest trends of a profile (fairgrounds) venue implementation.
First of all the building features underground car park for 3300 cars, secondly there is a supplementary rooftop car park for another 2700 cars, thirdly availability of a modern congress hall - Crocus City Hall for 6200 seats availability, equipped with all necessary facilities for hosting large scale international congresses and conferences, concerts and movie presentations. Total exhibit space of the third pavilion comprises 450 000 sq m. The developed infrastructure of the fairgrounds features comfortable conference halls with transformable partitions, VIP-class meeting rooms, spacious lobbies, cozy cafes and foodcourts.
Immediately following the opening ceremony of the Crocus Expo IEC third pavilion it went down in history of national exhibition business benefiting by gaining two nominations in the Russian Guiness Book of Records!
The new pavilion Crocus Expo "left behind" in terms of exhibit space even widely famous Hannover Messe (Germany, Hannover). Thus, in such nomination as " the biggest exhibition pavilion " the third pavilion took the first position in the world possessing the exhibition space of one pavilion of 394 000 sq m!
On rates of construction Crocus Expo has also registered an unprecedented result. 2710 thousand cubic meters of the third pavilion were constructed during the period from September 2006 till August 2007, that by a factor of 10 times surpasses the previous record on this parameter!
The commissioning of the third pavilion offers the kind of ambience that is conducive to an increasing variety of exhibitions with all requirements and desires of an organizer taken into consideration.
