About Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre
Official inauguration of Crocus Expo first pavilion was held on March 18, 2004 and became the main event of the year in the sphere of the exhibition industry which attracted great attention of state officials, press and business representatives. In particular, Mr. A.I. Agalarov, the President of CJSC CROCUS INTERNATIONAL, Mr. B.V. Gromov, the Governor of Moscow Region, and Mr. A.I. Kaz’min, the President and the Chairman of Sberbank of the Russian Federation attended the ceremony.
Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center was designed and constructed using modern building materials in accordance with the highest international architectural standards. Its core business is holding of large international exhibitions of different profiles with participation of Russian and foreign companies.
The Board of Directors of the International Association of Congress Centres (AIPC) decided to include Crocus Expo IEC into the list of members of this authoritative organization starting from 2008. The Association incorporates more than 150 largest congress centres worldwide. The membership in AIPC serves as a quality mark testifying that services rendered by an exhibition and congress centre accord with the latest international standards
Much prominence is given to the exhibition center by organizations coordinating development of the exhibition activity. CROCUS INTERNATIONAL company, the exhibition center enters in, is a member of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Guild of Exhibition and Fairs Organizations at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At present Crocus Expo is one largest and most perspective exhibition grounds in Russia.
There are 19 exhibition halls in its pavilions (pavilion 1, pavilion 2, pavilion 3), equipped according to the latest international standards, 49 conference halls (pavilion 1, pavilion 2, pavilion 3) with all the necessary facilities for holding exhibition and congress events, presentations and seminars, modern concert hall Crocus City Hall for 6200 seats availability and meeting rooms of VIP class.
Pavilion 3 of the Exhibition centre, with total exhibit space exceeding 450 000 sq m opened doors in August 2007.
For visitors" convenience there is a covered passageway between the pavilions of the exhibition center equipped with travellators (“speedwalks“) that save time of observing the expositions displayed on the whole showground site.
Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center has a very well developed infrastructure: Sberbank and Crocus Bank Departments, service-centers, food courts, cafes and restaurants (pavilion 1, pavilion 2, pavilion 3), taxi service, coatrooms, customs terminal, and handling service are situated at its pavilions.
Multimedia data terminals which help visitors to orient both in the exhibition pavilions and within each particular exhibition are installed at the entrances to each exhibition hall and at food courts.
Advanced security systems will provide comfortable working climate for organizers and exhibitors during an exhibition period as well as during mounting and dismantling periods. Overall guarding is provided during all exhibitions in general, but at the same time exhibitors can order individual guarding of their exhibition booth.
Crocus Expo IEC is located on the 65-66 km of Moscow Motor Ring (MKAD) outer side. There are several convenient exits to the fairgrounds from the highway.
In addition a new metro station Myakinino (Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line) was opened directly in the exhibition centre territory in December 2009.
It would be relevant to mention free Crocus Expo IEC parking facilities: the venue has over 20 000 car parking places opposite from the fairgrounds and there are supplementary parking places for 6000 cars in the third pavilion.

Crocus Expo territory
The territory by the Crocus Expo IEC pavilions is perfectly suited for a considerable quantity of outdoor advertising placing: there are roll light boxes, four flag alleys, cross-street banners, structures on concrete blocks.
There is a free parking lot for 20 000 cars opposite the Crocus Expo IEC pavilions.
