International specialized exhibition RUBBER & TIRES

The International specialized exhibition Rubber & Tires was held in Crocus Expo IEC May 11 through 14, 2010.

A new project of own exhibition program of the fairgrounds, Rubber & Tires exhibition, became a significant event for chemical industry workers, constructors, production engineers, manufacturers and processors since as of today chemical industry of Russia undergoes significant changes.

The exhibition Rubber & Tires comprised an exhibition of innovation projects and technologies presented by the leading companies in this sector, a special platform for the equipment demonstration.

The following sections were presented at the show Rubber & Tires:

• tires for all types of motor vehicles;
• manufacture technologies and equipment;
• rubbers, raw stock and materials and equipment for their manufacture;
• elastomer and elastomer composites;
• rubber products, technologies and equipment for their manufacture;
• equipment for tire fitting and wheel balancing;
• disks, chains, tire studs;
• chemical fibres, technical textile, metal cord;
• tires repair, retreading and recycling;
• manufacture of products from utilized and secondary materials;
• special products, including protective clothing;
• specialized mass media.

All speakers expressed their common opinion speaking about the importance of the Russian chemical branch development, necessity of productivity and competitiveness increase.
 
A scientific and practical conference Rubber & Tires in ХХI century: new developments in raw materials, technologies, quality control and environment protection was held within the frames of the calendar of events May 12 and 13. The participants of the conference had an opportunity to discuss the most urgent issues in the branch in the process of professional networking among specialists.

Professional contests Tire 2010 and Rubber 2010 was also held within the frames of the exhibition Rubber & Tires. The winners of the contests are:

• ORGkHIM Biological and Chemical holding for oil-filler NORMAN-346.
• VMI  HOLLAND BV for the system of Steel Cord Cutter MAXX.
• KraussMaffei  Berstorff GmbH for 850 mm extrusion head for tire tread manufacturer.

First of all Rubber & Tires exhibition aimed to organize an exhibition space encouraging professional networking. A tight program of exhibition-related events enabled to obtain comprehensive information on new technologies application and product range expansion. The organizers, on their part, spared no effort to provide comfortable working conditions. Participation became a unique opportunity to present a company and products to a distinctly selected targeted audience of industry specialists.
