The First Eurasian exhibition of the International Union of Public Transport ExpoCityTrans-2010 will be held for the first time in the Russian exhibition business history September 6 through 8, 2010 in the Crocus Expo IEC.
The organizer of the exhibition project is the Eurasian section of the International Union of Public Transport (IUPT) and Crocus Expo exhibition centre. The event is supported by the Committee for Transport of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the Ministry for Transport of the Russian Federation.
The exhibition ExpoCityTrans-2010is entirely devoted to the issues related to a current status and development of all public transport means (urban and suburban passenger transportations of general use).
The exposition will draw attention of regions and cities top managers which are responsible for social and economic development of territories, a policy in the field of ecology and improvement of quality of a life of the population, a condition and development of urban passenger transportation market; experts in the field of organization of public transport and regulation of its activity; heads of operational transport agencies, and also professionals in the field of town planning, land tenure and planning of transport interchanges.
This significant and, certainly, indicative event will be dated for the First Eurasian Congress of International Union of Public Transport (IUPT). Uniqueness of this global association with 125-year old history consists in the fact that it unites all participants of the market of public transport service for the population (more than 3200 members in 90 countries of the world):
- Operators of public transport of all its kinds (tram, trolley bus, bus, underground);
- Authorities and regulation bodies responsible for the development of public transport in cities;
- Industrial enterprises and suppliers of rolling stock, transport equipment and services;
- Research and scientific, design and consulting organizations;
- Educational institutions preparing experts for work at the enterprises of public transport;
- Transport associations and unions;
- Branch press.
For more than centenary history of its activity IUPT has turned to the global association with huge authority, after all issues related to the development of modern public transport constantly come out on top of the agenda of local and national administrations.
Expo forums will be held on the fairgrounds in conformity with IUPT traditions. The expo forums will allow visitors to receive exhaustive information on new products and technologies, and exhibitors to tell in details about presented products, thereby, promoting public transport market services.
